The UX Book Club (www.uxbookclub.org) is a world-wide initiative to get people talking about UX design and research. We're the San Diego "chapter." The first meeting we had was in early 2010, and now we are reviving the group in 2011 with the synergy brought by UX Speakeasy which also started in 2011. What is it? A series of hands-on workshops that focus on UX design for mobile and touch products. Who is it for? Beginners who love design but don’t have the means to attend school. Working designers of any discipline who want jump into user experience and interaction design. Why is it? All the great hands-on UX-related workshops are not accessible for most working people.
